Brooks Canoe & Kayak

Our great love of the outdoors, and beauty of canoeing and kayaking  inspired us to start this canoe and kayak rental business. Come and enjoy canoeing and kayaking at Santa Fe Lake, experience its beauty, wildlife, and tranquility.

Whether you want a guided trip or want to explore the lake for yourself - we are happy to cater to your needs. We are also open to providing this service at other lakes and rivers in Kansas.   

Rental Rates:

Daily: 1-4 hours is $5 per person per hour. 

               Daily rate  is $40 per canoe; $30 per  kayak

Do you go to other lakes and rivers?

Yes, we can arrange to meet you at another KS lake or river,or you can pick up the equipment from us.  A transportation charge will apply depending on distance.

What are your hours?

We like to cater to your needs. Rentals are available from 7am to 9pm daily.  Guided tours are available in the evenings Monday through Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Where are you located?

We are located at 8750 SW Santa Fe Lake Rd. From Wichita, go east  on Kellogg (HWY 54). Five miles past Andover Rd, you will come to Santa Fe Lake Rd. Turn left.  Continue for just over 1 mile. At the Canoe Kayak  Rentals sign turn right into the drive way and come on up to the house.

Can I drop off my teenager and his friends for a trip?

  Yes, but an adult must  sign the release form  for any minors.

What should I wear and bring?

You should wear comfortable clothes or swim wear.  Don't forget the sunscreen.  We also recommend bringing a thermos or bottled water for each person. Feel free to bring a small cooler of snacks or a picnic lunch/supper.  Please bring your trash back with you to throw away in the dumpster.

We will provide you with a small dry bag to store your keys and cell phone in.  If at anytime you wear out or can't make it back to the docks (due to wind or weather), PLEASE call and we will happily pick you up and bring you back to your vehicle.
